Make_tape_recovery backup fail?

I have to backup using make_tape_recovery?
The same as error log...

creating Control configuration.
creating Archive file list
creating Archive Configuration.

As the error says, the syntax error in config file is causing this. Check the config file.

What is the ignite/OS version?

Check the line 77 of the config file /var/opt/ignite/recovery/2005-09-30, 15:15/archive_cfg as indicated for any errors.

Does /var has enough free space?

-Check the configuration file line 77.
-Is the tape or media ok, try by testing using tar.
- /var has free space ?.
-It could be also a patch problem: PHSS_27407 for HP-UX 11.0 and PHSS_27406 for HP-UX 11i.
