New Ignite-UX Server Setup

Hi all,

I was hoping I could get some recommendations on sizing for a new Ignite server that I am setting up. Really, I am wondering what kind of disk requirements I will need for images, assuming I want to keep 2 or 3 make_net_recovery images per client. Am I pretty much just looking at trying to figure out how much disk space each client will take up?

Any help is appreciated!

Re: New Ignite-UX Server Setup

It really depends on how big vg00 on client is setup. I would go for a 10 % increase on each file system (vg00) on Ignite server for each client and breathing room at /var & /usr

Re: New Ignite-UX Server Setup

To give you a rough idea my root vg which is about 3.7GB (used allocated data) fit into a 1.1GB make_net_recovery archive.
Hope it helps.
