No logon in CDE with trusted

I convert to trusted system and no logon en Xserver (CDE) with telnet conect and no problem with logon, the problem is only graphic conection.

restart CDE's process dtlogin : /sbin/init.d/dtlogin.rc stop followed by a start ... it should work afterwards.

Whenever I have CDE problems, the first thing I do is run dr_dt :

/usr/contrib/bin/X11/dr_dt

This will find many issues with CDE - look at anything that shows up as a WARNING or ERROR

Hi Rene,

if telnet works then your system is almost at run level 2, you can launch

# who -r

but maybe it is run level 3 too.
Then could be that dtlogin.rc is down, you can verify it by

# ps -ef | grep -i dtlogin

If it is not up CDE won't start.

First check with error logs.

.dt/errorlog and also /var/dt/Xerrors.

Also is nslookup foe your machine OK - both ways?

Also run dr_dt and post.

Password have 8 characteres.

The services is up:
#ps -ef | grep -i dtlogin
root 1677 1650 0 Nov 26 ? 0:49 /usr/dt/bin/dtlogin
root 397 29866 1 11:14:29 pts/0 0:00 grep -i dtlogin

No error encounter with :
/usr/contrib/bin/X11/dr_dt

have you this problem since you trusted your system?
Has your system Xserver and Xserver patches installed? What does the following command get?

# swlist -l product | grep -i Xserver

The problem only is present when convert a trusted system, if i desconvert the system user logon over cde (xserver).

I have 3 server with same configuration and only this present the problem.
