Non-interactive Ignite of a Vpar
Problem: I need to resize the Root Disk (vg00 тАУ LVM) on over 150 HP-UX 11iv1 Vpars using make_net_recovery and Ignite. I need to automate this process as much as possible.
Resources:
тАв 2 dedicated Ignite Servers, one per subnet
тАв A trusted server that can be used to automate command execution on the Ignite servers and target client systems (e.g. running make_net_recovery, updating the client system_cfg file or populating the instl_boottab file on the Ignite server, or running vparboot тАУp тАж -I тАж on the client).
If I could use bootsys I could initiate a non-interactive Ignite using the тАЬ-wтАЭ option, however, I am restricted to the vparboot command which is very limited in its available options.
Question:
What changes could I make to the Ignite Server configuration and the Ignite config files generated by make_net_recovery to launch a fully automated, non-interactive, ask no questions Ignite (or as close as possible) using the vparboot command?
