Password to mysql
does anyone know how to login into mysql which was installed by ignite-ux on an UX 11.22 box.
We want to use mysql for other databases as well.
Is this possible?
Thx

Re: Password to mysql
If this is the case, your sql information would have been duplicated from the source machine's image.

Re: Password to mysql
User account administration is perhaps the worst part of mysql installation. It is a hangover from the open-source world which aims for total flexibility.
I suggest that you point your browser at
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/index.html
which gives all the mysql documentation.
Then scroll down and read the documentation under sections 2.4.2 and 2.4.3 (post-installation administration) which will help a lot.

Re: Password to mysql
now I found out that mysql was installed by Sysinvmgr (called SIM). I was confused about this and Systems Insight Manager.
So I removed it and will install mysql itself.
Thanks for your answers.
