Hi,
would it be a problem to mount another system with NFS3 to put the archive onto this server? I am asking because we lack of some space onto the machine on which we run Ignite-UX....
If it's possible, would the client connect itself directly to the server which provides the space or would the network-traffic flow like Client<-->Ignite-UX-Server<-->Data-Server (during the creation of the archive as well as the installation of the client)?

Hi Markus,
No, you can easely do it.
You just have to specifiy where you want to store the archive like this nfs_server:/var/opt/ignite/recovery/archives/hostname and be careful that on you nfs server you have a line like this "/var/opt/ignite/recovery/archives/hostname -anon=2,access=hostname" on your /etc/exports file for evry server you want to save.
The client will connect itself directly to the nfs server (event during a re-installation).
