Recall system IP/hostname etc..

How do i ensure that after a bootsys from the ignite server that the tgt system will maintain it's previous ip.

Currently it is taking the ip of the system the golden image was made from.

You can add final_ip_address=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
or if you are using a UX server, under /var/opt/ignite/clients/0xaaaaaaaaaa on the server put your config file.

0xaaaaaa is the mac address of target box.

I guess my problem stemmed from including the networking o/p of save_config (from the golden server) in the config.local referenced by the index file.
It seemed to override the bootp config..
