Recovering via network without interacting with the client console
Has anyone found the means to recover a client from a make_net_recovery archive without having to interact with the client console?
In other words, can we configure the IUX server (and the client before rebooting it via network) so that after rebooting, the client goes automatically to the "Waiting for installation instructions from server"?
Apparently, it seems that we can't avoid the fact that a user must validate or modify the network parameters.
TIA, Jerome

Re: Recovering via network without interacting with the client console
1. Have you setup boot ip addresses and to run the client installation from the server under Options, Server Configuration?
2. Make sure that the ignite bootp entry in your /etc/inetd.conf file is configured properly and that the bootpd daemon is running on the Ignite server.
3. You are probably aware of this but make sure that the client and the server are on the same subnet. Otherwise you will need a ignite boot helper?

Indecsion is the key to flexibility
