Restore Image of one CLuster node on another harware
Can I restore Ignite Image of our Cluster Node which is a BL860C i2 Server
to
another hardware which is BL870c i4 Server. and then shutdown the old Server and start the new Server to join the Cluster.
Is it that easy as it seems ?

Re: Restore Image of one CLuster node on another harware
No, it won't be simple. The first requirement is that patch level for your i2 server is high enough to support the i4 blade. The i4 is not backward compatible, just as the i2 blade is not backward compatible with the i1. Then as with any Ignite restore to different hardware, you need to make sure the current blade has drivers that will support the i4 blade's disks and network connections.
