Upgrade Ignite UX
Hi,
I have an Ignite-UX server (Ver 11.00) with B.4.1.55 version. There are many clients (ver 10.20) with same Ignite version. I am planning to upgrade Ignite UX version to B.5.4.50 on both server and clients. The reason why I am not going for a later version is, B.5.4.50 is the last version which supports 10.20 clients. My question is, Do I need to upgrade server and clients individually? or is there a way to upgrade only server and push to clients?
Another one is, as I am upgrading from B.4.X to B.5.X, Is it rquired to do swremove prior to upgrade.
TIA
Shahul

Re: Upgrade Ignite UX
I don't know about pushing to clients but I have always found that I have to swremove the old version.

Re: Upgrade Ignite UX
Hi Shahul,
I installed first the server and then by make of a net_recovery from the server ugrade automatic each one of the clients.
In some of the case I had that desinstall manually remains of the previous version (Ignite-UX.FILE-SRV-11-00).
rgs,
