What's is /var/opt/ignite/tmp/listeners/IO/1100io/15789.1100io.running

Hi everyone, I have a netbackup process that's failing when trying to access that file.

I would like to know what's the use of this file /var/opt/ignite/tmp/listeners/IO/1100io/15789.1100io.running inside ignite

/var/opt/ignite/tmp will be used during ignite backup and will be cleaned up once the backup is over.

possibly during the netbackup ,there was an ignitebackup session alive.


Is that file still there? if so check for ignite backup process

ps -ef |grep -i make
ps -ef |grep -i ignite

Hi Johnson, thanks for the reply ... I see some make process as well as ignite, they're running since Feb 6, so will have to check ignite log files to see whats going on.

logs will be under /var/opt/ignite/logs

once the ignite back up finished is finished , /var/opt/ignite/tmp directory will be emptied by the ignite process itself.
