What is the amount in Bytes/Kilobytes of 1 block, if I use make_recovery (Ignite-UX).

Gernerally, though, I agree with the response above. For most system utilities block size defaults to 512 bytes.

'blocks', as reported by utilities like tar, cpio, dd ... default to 512 bytes, but their size can be adjusted for some programs.

The boot image is witten in 2KB blocks and the data image is written in 10KB blocks (default blocksize for pax).
