Re: change ignite server
I would be interested in, too :-))
The new ignite server has a new Ip address, but with boot lan... the old address still appears.

Re: change ignite server
I'm still not understanding this question.
Is the IUX server entered with the boot lan command the same server that was used to create the recovery image?

SolutionBut I think I know what you are referring to. There are config files that declare the IP address of the Ignite server. My installing from a backup tape, these files did not change. Here's a manual way to change it:
instl_adm -d > /tmp/cfg.tmp
vi /tmp/cfg.tmp
Set the "server=" parameter to the proper IP address.
instl_adm -f /tmp/cfg.tmp
Note this is is only the first place. There could be MANY other local config files (depending on your setup) that will still have the old IP address.

Re: change ignite server
@Scot - yes man, that's the command we need!
L- you can also use 'instl_adm -t
See 'man instl_adm'.
With 'instl_adm -d' you can check the change.
Scot - 10 pts. from me :-)
L- a very good question :-))
