guys,
I did a make_tape_recovery today, obviously there there was not enough space for backup image with one tape, and os prompted me to replace the tape and type "go" when it was ready or "quit" to exit.
I replaced with a new tape, and type "go" and enter, nothing happen, not write to the new tape; at other platform, I type "quit" and enter, it did now quit, just hang there. In both cases I could ctr+c to exit to os prompt.
but when I executed make_tape_recovery again(I used the original tape), I was told that"NOTE; Other make_sys_image process running, wait for completion.
Please check /var/tmp/ign_configure/make_sys_image_flag
for the Process ID of it.
NOTE: The other make_sys_image process still has not stopped."
what is the right steps to deal with my issue?
regards
Stephen

Re: how to replace tape when there is not enough space for backup image?
Alzhy,
you've got it, I use a backgroup script but I forgot that, led to my confusion.
I just removed file under /var/tmp/ign_configure then it was ok to proceed.

Stephen
