Re: ignite boot suddenly stops working
Do you use dbprofile on the client?
Otherwise there could be another PXE server on the network?
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: ignite boot suddenly stops working
yes we do use dbprofile when i am at the isl command prompt...here is the output for instl -d, i have also done a tftp from one server to another server.
instl_adm -d
# instl_adm defaults:
# NOTE: Manual additions between the lines containing "instl_adm defaults"
# and "end instl_adm defaults" will not be preserved.
server="172.27.104.85"
netmask[]="255.255.255.0"
route_gateway[0]="172.27.104.1"
route_destination[0]="default"
# end instl_adm defaults.

Re: ignite boot suddenly stops working
From an alternate HP-UX client, try the bootpquery to the intended Ignite-UX server. If you get a positive response, it will rule out bootp related challenges at the Ignite-UX server.
Next, check in your Ignite-UX server's /etc/bootptab file, if you have the MAC address of the client that is receiving the PXE-boot errors.
HTH,
Sanjay
