ignite the work station
Hi all
I am trying to push the softwares from ignite server(rp2450) on to a workstation (Hp visualize J5600)
It started very well, client rebooted and while pushing the OS it is hanging at "changing the boot path to x/x/x/x"(x/x/x/x is the choosen root disk)
any idea why this is hanging, client is at remote site, subnet is the same

Re: ignite the work station
Hi
got the answer, rp7400 is s800 series, whereas work stations are all s700 series. so igniting from s800 to s700 or vice versa wouldn't work.
thanks to HP

Re: ignite the work station
It will work.
from 800 to 700 or viceversa is not at all an issue.
Check your log files and configuration.

Re: ignite the work station
Hi Ravi
What version of ignite are you using and what version of HPUX is on the server and client?
I can push the software ok from a L2000 server to a B1000 workstation.
