impossible to print
when I execute the order "lpstat -t", one of my printers is disable.
the message is as follows : error 1 returned
do you have information on this message and perhaps the solution ?

It might be worth making sure that the printer is "accepting requests" too. If not, then go "accept
However, I imagine there is something wrong with this printer. How is it connected, does it work from another system (sometimes just running out of paper can disable a printer). If you could post more details of your system it might be helpful.

destination printername was already accepting request.
when i use the command:
lpstat printername, result :
printername is down.
this printer is connected to a PC and I use Exceed emulator to connect to HPUX.
when I print with Word , excel no problems.

The remote printer daemon is dead on the PC
Any print queue will be disabled when the model-script returns a non-zero code to lpsched.
Your queue is seeing the error
code 1, so it is being disabled.
Try rlpstat with parameter -d printer
see what it returns
