Re: lan ignite boot rp7410
can you verified the permissions for the below directories/files ?
/opt/ignite/boot/Rel_B.11.11
/opt/ignite/boot/Rel_B.11.11/WINSTALL
/opt/ignite/data
all should have a read+execute permission
Thanks!!

Re: lan ignite boot rp7410
Need the following:
1) swlist -l product | grep -i ignite
2) ll /opt/ignite/boot/Rel_B.11.11
3) more /etc/inetd.conf | grep tftp
(make sure /opt/ignite and /var/opt/ignite are mentioned under tftp in this file)

Re: lan ignite boot rp7410
Check that the DHCP server built into Ignite is running (ps -ef grep boot) and has available IP addresses.
This looks like a simple network connectivity issue.

Re: lan ignite boot rp7410
If not, make sure the servers are in the same subnet.
Also check if you have added the bootable IP address in the instl_boottab file.
If it is able to obtain an IP address then it may be a firewall issue.

Re: lan ignite boot rp7410
when you are prompted to choose an Image, what happens after that?
Installing IG-UX Installation utilities means you have made the sevrer capble of installing OS over network.
Have you a valid system image from where the server shall install another server.
you can see by creating a golden image on the ignite server and see by using that for install.
you can start from here.
