make_net_recovery.ksh

This is the script I found in our ignite server. I do not understand - to which location it is copying to...

################

SERVER=xxx-ignite-xxx

LOCK=`ll /var/tmp/ign_configure/make_sys_image_flag* | awk '{print $9}'`

if [[ -f ${LOCK} ]]

then

        `logger -t make_net_recovery.ksh "HP_BT_CS_ALERT CRITICAL Unable to run

ignite.  ${LOCK} in place from previous ignite.  Please investigate."`

        exit 1

else

        /opt/ignite/bin/make_net_recovery -s ${SERVER} -A inc_entire=vg00

        if [[ $? = 2 ]]

        then

                `logger -t make_net_recovery.ksh "HP_BT_CS_ALERT MAJOR Ignite ba

ckup has completed with a WARNING. Please investigate."`

                elif [[ $? = 1 ]]

                then

                        `logger -t make_net_recovery.ksh "HP_BT_CS_ALERT CRITICA

L Ignite backup has failed.  Please investigate."`

        else

                continue

        fi

Re: make_net_recovery.ksh

That looks like a template for a wrapper around /opt/ignite/bin/make_net_recovery.

It will backup the box it is running on to whatever server is specified by the -s parameter, which in this case is controlled by the `SERVER=xxx-ignite-xxx` line.
