make_net_recovery queries

I am new in using the make_net_recovery command.

Would like to check where will the output be when the following command 'make_net_recovery -s hostname -n 3 -Avl -x inc_entire=/dev/vg00 2>&1' is executed?

How much space do I need to cater before I execute this command?

Re: make_net_recovery queries

2>&1 redirect the error channel to the standard output channel (your terminal).

You can redirect this output to a file by adding something like 1>myfile.

The behaviour depends always on the shell used.

The archive will be stored in the default directory for archives on your ignite server.

Hope this helps!
