make_net_recovery warning /cdrom

I have one server that I am running make_net_recovery on that gives warnings about /cdrom not being mounted. What is causing this on one server and not on any others ??

WARNING: Filesystem /cdrom is not mounted. It will be ignored.
WARNING: list_expander returned a warning, please check the log file.

Re: make_net_recovery warning /cdrom

You really don't want to back up whats on the cd-rom anyway. You can safely ignore the message.

Whats the Ignite version and /cdrom entry in /etc/fstab

You may be able to supress the message by either ejecting the cd or commenting out the auto mount entry in /etc/fstab for the cd-rom.

Re: make_net_recovery warning /cdrom

Do not worry about the message about cdrom. check the logs and check what file link_expander is complaining about.

you can do link_expander "file"

Re: make_net_recovery warning /cdrom

Mike,

Check if /etc/fstab has an entry for /cdrom on this server that is not present on others. That could probably be removed and the error should go away.

Thanks, I knew the message was informational but forgot about the /etc/fstab that did have an entry in it. I've commented it out there.
