make_sys_image interrupted. how to reset files?
make_sys_image got interrupted in the middle of operation. How do I get back the files that it temporary replaces?

Re: make_sys_image interrupted. how to reset files?
make_sys_image is a script, so you can read it and see where the system files are copied.
In my version, looks like they are tar'ed up into one file under the /var/tmp/ign_configure/ path.

or just run make_sys_image again and let it fix itself.
I ran into this when it remove the transition links. You can re-run tlinstall but it is easier to let make_sys_image fix itself with a successfull run.
This is assuming this is hpux 11.11

Shalom,
Tim's solution is the best. Then run it again to get a proper image, because the first run will not have correct permissions and ownership on certain critical files.
