make_tape_recovery in IVM host and guest using the tapedrive connected to Host
Hi,
i am planning to upgarde my IVM host server from 11iv2 to 11iv3 .Here i have two guest configured ,VM1 and VM2. I have a tape drive connected to my host .but how will i use the same tape drive to take ignite-Ux recovery image from both VM1 and VM2 also from host..
how can i make use of one tape drive to accomplish this.
Thanks
Antony

Re: make_tape_recovery in IVM host and guest using the tapedrive connected to Host
You need to attach the tape to the HPVM with hpvmmodify command.
You can also take the ignite of VMs to your host and install from there.
