make_tape_recovery is not including entire vg00

After a disaster recovery test last week using ignite i discovered that not all of /etc/opt/ was recovered. The /etc/opt/resmon was, amongst others, missing. Luckily an other system had the complete /etc/opt/ tree and i could take it from there.

How can i include the entire /etc/opt tree?

I'm using make_tape_recovery -AI -x inc_entire=vg00.

The /etc/opt is on /dev/vg00/lvol4

Hi,
Use command with
1. -f filename
"File contain exclusion and inclusion. see man make_tape_recovery"

2. -x include=file|dir

3. -x exclude=file|dir

Hope that helps.

The make_tape_recovery command looks fine. Perhaps there was an error when the tape was made? Could have been tape/system/space issue. I would suggest making another tape and perusing all of the output messages for any issues.
