make_tape_recovery
When i do make tape recovery. No output.
I used this command to my rx6600 server:
#nohup make_tape_recovery -Av -a /dev/rmt/8mn &
when i do #tail -f nohup.out supposed have out put but i can't get out put.
ioscan tape drive it was claimed.
normal copy using tar ok.
experts I need ur help

tail -f /var/opt/ignite/recovery/latest/recovery.log

Try to take make tape recovery by using below command
# ioscan -funC tape
# make_tape_recovery -a /dev/rmt/?mn -I -v -x inc_entire=vg00
?mn= 1mn/ 2mn , means which shows after using ioscan -funC tape
If helps, pls assign point.

make_tape_recovery not redirect output to nohup.out.
suggest you to look recovery.log for further reference.

Please note that the 'recovery' in
tail -f /var/opt/ignite/recovery/latest/recovery.log
may be a directory named after the 'date' of creation.

There is a log file in /var/opt/ignite
It probably says something relevant.
