Re: make_tape_recovery

Hi ,

Try to take make tape recovery by using below command

# ioscan -funC tape

# make_tape_recovery -a /dev/rmt/?mn -I -v -x inc_entire=vg00

?mn= 1mn/ 2mn , means which shows after using ioscan -funC tape

If helps, pls assign point.

Re: make_tape_recovery

yes .. i had seen the same problem ...

make_tape_recovery not redirect output to nohup.out.

suggest you to look recovery.log for further reference.

Re: make_tape_recovery

Hi,

Please note that the 'recovery' in
tail -f /var/opt/ignite/recovery/latest/recovery.log

may be a directory named after the 'date' of creation.

Re: make_tape_recovery

Shalom,

There is a log file in /var/opt/ignite

It probably says something relevant.
