"See the server logfile" message in the server logfile
Hi,
I'm setting up a 11.31 ignite server pointing to a depot for the core media. All has gone well with no errors in set up except when I attempt to point a new install client at the server I receive the error
"There was no installation started for client "hpuxclientA". See the server logfile ( /var/opt/ignite/logs/ignite) for errors"
If I look in the ignite log exactly the same error is shown
I've been through the ignite Troubleshooting Guide and everything is in place
bash-4.0# instl_adm -T
* Checking file: /opt/ignite/data/Rel_B.11.11/config
* Checking file: /opt/ignite/data/Rel_B.11.11/hw_patches_cfg
* Checking file: /var/opt/ignite/data/config.local

# share -F nfs -o rw=engineering -d "home dirs" /home

share -F nfs -o anon=2 /var/opt/ignite/depots
# cat /etc/inetd.conf ( relevant lines only shown)
tftp dgram udp wait root /usr/lbin/tftpd tftpd\
/opt/ignite\
/var/opt/ignite
bootps dgram udp wait root /usr/lbin/bootpd bootpd
instl_boots dgram udp wait root /opt/ignite/lbin/instl_bootd instl_bootd
Does anyone have any ideas what to look at next?
Thanks
Paul
