recover machine with CD

Hi all ! I recently burned a CD from one of my machines. I followed the steps 1) to 18) from http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/QuestionAnswer/1,11866,0xabb7d08cc06fd511abcd0090277a778c,00.html. (Ignore the last post, i know now how it works). The fs_image file contains the following:
volume ISL10 data size 281239 directory size 3 01/09/11 14:01:22
filename type start size implement created
===============================================================
ISL -12800 2048000 306 0 01/09/11 14:01:22
AUTO -12289 2048312 1 0 01/09/11 14:01:22
INDEX BIN 2048320 1 0 01/09/11 14:01:22

WINSTALLFS -12290 2093808 35840 0 01/09/11 14:01:29

SYSCMDS BIN 2141176 54331 0 01/09/11 14:01:34
SCRIPTS BIN 2195512 41 0 01/09/11 14:01:34
After I booted from the CD, i got some errors, like:
WARNING: Failure registering as Remote Procedure Call server using
protocol sequence "ncacn_ip_tcp" with endpoint "2121". No
addresses (dce / rpc) and
Missing os_arch_post_c / os_arch_post_l.
Another issue was that /etc/fstab and /etc/nsswitch.conf were not recovered.
Any ideas what i missed to do ?
TIA, Holger
