Hi,

Oops misread the question I guess.
But did you try another tape ?

And how about the Ignite version ?

The computer is a great invention, there are as many mistakes as ever, but they are nobody's fault !

Hi,

Let us know if the new tape did solve your problem. If not we will help you to investigate further on this.
I am curious as well.

Re: ultrium 230 make_tape_recovery

The ultrium 230 makes MTR's fine, and very fast, 10 minutes on an L2000.

Here is the command script I use.

/opt/ignite/bin/make_tape_recovery -a /dev/rmt/1mn -v -x inc_entire=vg00

Never let 'em see you choke!!

Hey Clemens you there?

yes 230s are supported!

A different tape did solve the problem.

Thanks to ALL!

You need to check that you have the latest PDC on your L-class server. Also when you recover from tape, do not interrupt the boot process.
