Break smart-array mirror on HP Proliant DL380 G2

Hi,
I have HP Proliant DL380 G2 with smart-array.
There is one logical drive composet of two physical drives in RAID 1. Question: Is it possible break this mirror such way, that one drive will leave as backup ?

Shalom,

Pull one of the two drives. Wala instant backup.

I've also replicated whole systems using this method.
