Hi,
Trying to deploy RHEL on a baremetal 685G7 using 6.3 CMS.
Configured the network and successfully performed "bare metal discovery" using the virtual media boot.
Next step is where I stuck: deploying OS.
Default boot option is PXE but that's a no go for the network here.
When I try to change it to Virtual Media, using options-->ic-linux-->configure boot method, I receive below error.
System is a bare metal one, so when I select target to change the boot method for, I am having to select it using its S/N.
Has anyone successfully booted of the VM for initial OS deployment?

SolutionFor some reason, server was not properly added to the SIM database. Had to remove the system from SIM than add it back. With that it came up with a new GUID and was identified as a server system. From there on configure boot method task completed successfully.
