Modification of Control Tower DHCP IP address assignments
Is it possible to delete the IP address that ICLE's dhcp has assigned to a Blade?
How can one assign an static IP address to a MAC ID on ICLE?
Thanks,

Re: Modification of Control Tower DHCP IP address assignments
Again, sorry for the delay in responding.
The only way to delete the IP address that is assigned by ICLE's DHCP Server is to delete that blade from the ICLE postgres database (ADMIN, COMPONENTS, COMPONENT MANAGER). There is no method to assign the ICLE "Management Network" IP via a MAC ID. The ICLE system must have a known, static IP that is assigned by itself and permanently entered in a database, this allows ICLE to know everything about that blade and not mistakenly provision the wrong blade which could result in the destruction of a production server.
You are free to assign any of the other NIC's on HP Blade Servers any way you want, most customers assign these statically since Servers need an IP that won't change.
