PSP for RHEL6?
as RHEL6 has just being published, are there any plans for Proliant Support Pack tools to be made available?
What's the timeframe we should expect?
thanks! :)

Re: PSP for RHEL6?
If history is our guide, be prepared to wait 60-90 days.
I tried an install today, blew up in vmware in a rather ugly fashion.

Re: PSP for RHEL6?
I installed it on a 64-bit RHEL 6 on a VMware guest (I don't know wether PSP's are supported within VMs).
IMHO as a great improvement, it contains generic kmod drivers that should allow future kernel updates.
On the other hand, with this PSP and kernel 2.6.32-71.7.1 I had to remove the kmod-mptbase driver to be able to successfully reboot.
I've also noticed these warnings during reboots:
WARNING: All config files need .conf: /etc/mo
dprobe.d/fc-hba.conf.old, it will be ignored in a future release.
Suggestion for PSP deployment: why not (HP to) create a yum repo somewhere in order to install the Linux PSPs?
Best Regards,
Arnold

Re: PSP for RHEL6?
Just noticed that this option already exists:
see http://downloads.linux.hp.com/SDR/getting_started.html !

Re: PSP for RHEL6?
Gone are the days of crawling around hp.com searching for the latest PSP package, or needing an HP SIM server to deploy them.
Awesome news, thanks!
