Re: Please state either ICE-Linux or ICLE when posting a quastion

Perhaps someone could start a thread on the difference? Is ICLE dead? If I have a customer on ICLE how do I get them on ICE-L 2.0? (doesn't their support entitle them to upgrade?)

Re: Please state either ICE-Linux or ICLE when posting a quastion

Hello Don,

With the release of ICE-Linux, ICLE has gone End of Life (EOL).

For more information on ICE-Linux, please visit the Product Page at:

http:/www.hp.com/go/ice-linux

This webpage gives an overview of the prodcut and lists the new features. I encourage you to go out there and take a look.

There is a link off of the main ICE-Linux web page that explains the upgrade procedure for folks who are existing ICLE customers (ICE-Linux Upgrades).

The ICE-Linux v2.0 product replaces the current Insight Control Linux Edition (ICLE) product and the Control Tower (CT) products.

Free upgrades to ICE-Linux v2.0 are available for current ICLE and CT users with valid HP Support contracts which include software updates.

There is a link off the main page for customer to download a free trial of ICE-Linux.

If you'd like read more about ICE-Linux, please refer to the documentation and release notes:

http://www.docs.hp.com/en/linuxredhat.html; then click on the HP Insight Control for Linux (ICE-Linux) link.
