Unable to send the traps from Linux System to SIM

Hi Experts,

We have configured the Linux Systems to SIM with the installed PSP8.3 agents.
But when i send the test trap from SMH the following error is logging in the syslog.

authentication failure; logname= uid=0 euid=0 tty= ruser= rhost= user=hpsmh

I am unable to send the traps.
Kindly help me.

I am closing the thread because i have troubleshoot this problem.
I have traced the reason for this problem that is due to the net-snmp packages are not installed on the server.
After installing the net-snmp packages now i can successfully send the traps from Linux systems to SIM.
