Any way I can monitor the RSP SIM plugin?

Any way I can monitor the RSP SIM plugin?

I'm looking for an easy way to monitor the SIM RSP plug-in, as I'd like to have it probed regularly by Nagios to receive an alert when it stops working and returns a 404 error (yes, it happened today I don't want this to go unnoticed).

I already do this for WEBES, I simply poll http://server:7902 and come back with an alert if nothing listens on this service.

But to do this with the RSP plug-in, I have to log into SIM, click on the "Remote Support and Services" menu entry, and check if something, anything really, comes back in the browser. This isn't easily automatable. Is there any way I could do this? Anything performed from a CLI is fine.

Thanks

You could poll the page directly:
https://server:2381/isee/isee-settings.php

Although a SMH login page may appear, after login you land in RSP. (RSP is just a sub-page in SMH, somehow the RSP developers preferred PHP to Java programming...)

It's not ideal since someone has to log in thus it is not easily automatable. But monitoring that it replies something is better than nothing.
