Check HPsim outgoing message/traps to HP

Hi,

What the best method to check if HPSim realy send his messages/traps to HP.
Traps are correct receive by email here at work, but how we know for sure when the traps are receive by HP?

Normaly HP calls when critical error is sending by HPSim, but not al the time.

Hi Marcel,

IRS (Insight Remote Support) sends all service incidents to HP. With this option support cases will automatically opened. Further information is available on
http://www.hp.com/go/insightremoteadvanced-docs

I know that Insight sends his service incidents to HP.

But my question is how can i check this?? Sometimes we recieve a call from HP when the recieve a trap from our HpSim server for (example) a disc, power, fans or someting has some problems. But they don't call us by every disc, fan or power problems. So i want to check if HPSim working correctly so i can call HP to find out why they don't call!!!

(btw the link works, but the links on that page to the docs don't work)

Which? I was able to download 6 PDFs.

You should see a service incident has been reported event for that server. Click on the server name and select Events Tab.

You should also be able to track the status of that event right through to closed.

You might also want to check that the servers have been correctly added to the Contract & Warranty part.
