Disk Monitoring
Hi,
I'd like to try monitoring disk health on a HPUX 11.11 system, ideally via SNMP.
A snmpwalk of the server does not contain the storage table (1.3.6.1.2.1.25.2.3.1).
I have snmpd installed and ISEE. Is there some package I'm missing, or is it a configuration issue?

Re: Disk Monitoring
Hello,
if you want to use ISEE to monitor you system, all disk events detected via EMS will be send to HP, but via http. If you want some snmp traps, you can do so by adding a monitor request for EMS and choose the snmp notification (see http://docs.hp.com/en/diag.html#EMS%20Hardware%20Monitors%20%28for%20HP%209000%29). The snmp will not notify HP about an event! If you want to, you can use both methode in parallel to notify you an HP.
Regards
Frauke
