We have two Storage Management Appliance/Servers. Does RSP/ISEE have to be running on the one that is the managing server for the EVA?
I've got RSP/ISEE installed on the one that is generally the hot spare. I can't seem to get the install to work on the server we use 99% of the time.

Solution
ISEE is now part of the RSP Package.
I've moved away from the SMA and just build the servers and install products as though they were standard builds.
On one server we have CommandView and the ELMC Proxy.
On the HPSIM Server there's also RSP and WEBES. RSP now contains ISEE.

Re: Does RSP/ISEE need to be running on the "managing" SMA for EVA?
Hi,
If you've have olny a handfull of devices and/or the additional service of HP-SIM is not necessary, you can use IRS Standard. ( http://h20392.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=RSSTANDARD ). It fully covers the functionality of ISEE V3 for EVAs. IRS is not supported on SMAs but on SMSs.
