Is the correct port open on your firewall to allow the system to talk to HP via the internet?

Re: Entitlement Check

Hi,

If you have a Web browser installed, you can try this URL:
http://isee.asiapac.hp.com/mots/motserv

You should get a Front End Statistics page.

Also, make sure you can resolve the name & IP of your HP Backend Server:

isee.asiapac.hp.com (192.170.77.107)
isee.europe.hp.com (192.6.126.144)

The mad.log should have some errors relating to the connection.

Hope this helps,

Re: Entitlement Check

Hi,
Thank you for reply. i Could resolve the backend server in europe and asia. The connectivity seems to be ok. I doubt in the registration process. I have attached the mad.log for your reference.

Thanks,

Re: Entitlement Check

Here is the error in mad.log:
030806 10:29:54.733 ERROR,[Comm] NetworkException (8): host not found

Possible causes:
1. Your Server is unable to resolve the IP address of HP Backend Server.
2. Your Server is unable to resolve the IP Address of your Proxy/Firewall Server.
3. You have incorrect Server Name defined in the ISEE GUI. You can see this entry under Configuration options/System.

Hope that helps,
