How to make a testevent from a RX8640

Hi all!

I wonder if there is some kind of test event for ELMC for Integrity??
ELMC for x64 and x86 you can write "wccproxy test" but at a Integrity you cant.
I have tried to send some SNMP traps but they do not a arrive to the SIM server.
I think it is closed between the VLANs.

Best regards

Re: How to make a testevent from a RX8640

Hi,

You can send test events for the core hardware on the system:

# sfmconfig -t
Usage:
sendtestevent
Valid monitornames are:
-m - for memory test event
-p - for processor test event
-b - for backbone test event
-f - for fpl_em test event
-i - for ia64_corehw test event
-a - for one test event each for all the above monitors

If events are not reaching SIM, please check for subscriptions, whether they are created on the local system.

use "evweb subscribe -L" to check for subscriptions.

thanks
