INSIGHT REMOTE SUPPORT STANDART (IRS) CONFIGURE SMTP SERVER AUTHENTICATION

Hi;

IRS Standart I installed correctly and working properly as it is monitoring an EVA 8100 with no problems.
The problem is that the configuration of the mail account just let me enter the name of the mail and the SMTP server.
The problem is that the SMTP server requires authentication and I can not specify this so that I can not send mail from the tool.

To use this tool with SMTP servers that require authentication as configured?

I'm not familiar with IIS but what I would try as a workaround is set up a local SMTP relay running on the CMS, have it authentify itself to your corporate SMTP server (I don't know if that's possible) and configure IRS to use localhost as the SMTP server. If that works, put an ACL in place to deny relaying from anywhere except the CMS itself.

Thanks;

What you propose is Using an SMTP virtual server, but I do not have the possibility to modify the mail server, anyway someone could explain how to do it?
