ISEE Connection or communcation Test
Hi,
One of the first test need to be perform when we install ISEE on a Managed Server is to run http://isee.americas.hp.com/most/mostsv
My question is, when do we run this test, In ISEE SC model 3 with proxy option. Do we do that after we add a new Managed Server to OSEM or before?
Thanks.

Re: ISEE Connection or communcation Test
Hi Dary,
http://isee.americas.hp.com/mots/motserv is used to check the internet connectivity to the HP Support Center.
Before installing the ISEE client software, validate that you can reach the following regional URL through Netscape or Microsoft Internet Explorer on the supported device:
├в ┬в http://isee.americas.hp.com/mots/motserv
├в ┬в http://isee.europe.hp.com/mots/motserv
├в ┬в http://isee.asiapac.hp.com/mots/motserv
Its just to check the reachability to the HP Support Center.
Hope this helps,

Re: ISEE Connection or communcation Test
Hi,
just another test about Conenctivity, run
/opt/hpservices/RemoteSupport/bin/iseeTestConnectivity.sh
This should just return the prompt and
echo $?
0
Once ran the command check mad.log into /var/opt/hpservices/log.
This action usually takes out some connectivity problems. If all is ok you shouldn't see anything in mad.log.
Just a further suggestion that hope helps you to test connectivity.
Best regards,
Fabio
