ISEE Health check

Hi,

We have 4 Hp UX Servers Installed ISEE on top of it.

I have observed last few Months ISEE is not gererate any aleart message on hardware event.So Would you please let me know how do i health check of isee.
eg1)Connection test 2) service check 3) network check

Hi,

EMS and STM detect hardware error and notify ISEE, here are a few things you can check:

1. emsagent, diagmond, stm monitors must be running.

2. rstListener and mad must be running

3. Run "/etc/opt/resmon/lbin/send_test_event disk_em", then look at /var/opt/resmon/log/event.log and rst.log, the test event disk_em #103 must be in both files.
