ISEE and VAEH-- installation question

Hi All,

Should I download and install the ISEE software for all the servers and also ISEE with VAEH component where cv-sdm installed? Like:

Server1: install ISEE only
Server2: install ISEE+ ISEE with VAEH, in this server cv-sdm is installed

Hi Richard,

You need to install ISEE and the ISEE VAEH component on the server where you have CVSDM installed.

You should only have one server in your san that is actively monitoring the VA with CVSDM, and that is where you should have the VAEH component installed to interact with ISEE. If you have more than one server with CVSDM installed, you must ensure that you have the polling on the other servers turned off, otherwise, you will be putting unnecessary load on the VA array.
