ISEE and system IP address
We have been evaluating ISEE for quite some time but our computing security folks take issue with the host IP address being sent out with the incident information. My understanding is that certain EMS events include the IPs so I suppose EMS is really the culprit. Does anyone know if HP ever plans to modify ISEE or EMS so that this type of information is not included?

Re: ISEE and system IP address
Hello,
you are right, the host IP address is included in the EMS event, as well as the hostname. I have not heard of any plans to remove these informations from the ISEE incident. As the data transmitted is encrypted and the transfer takes only place after a certificate exchange, noone should be able to read these informations during the transfer via the internet. Are your computing security folkes aware of the encryption etc?
Regards
Frauke

Re: ISEE and system IP address
Frauke has a realy good point a bout the encryption here. With Predictive the information was sendt by e-mail as text. So with ISEE the security is much better.
