I have difficulty to install ISEE in environment involving firewall, here is the descrition of the environment:
The ISEE is to be installed onto a system on a firewall DMZ, This system is named as node_a;
The firewall allows my desktop PC to access TCP 5060 of node_a;
Firewall allowes node_a to access SPOP server TCP 80.
but my PC cannot access http://node_a:5060/start.html and get attached result.
why do I get such result?
Thanks
Wallace

SolutionThis seems to be with FW or network settings, here are a few things you can try from your PC:
1. nslookup node_a
2. telnet node_a 5060
3. tracert node_a
Where is the SPOP located? In the same network as node_a or same as your PC?
Try to access node_a from the SPOP, also, if you have Netscape or Mozilla on node_a, you can try: http://localhost:5060/start.html.
Hope they will provide an incidation of the problem.
Regards,

Re: Install ISEE through firewall
Sorry for replying so late.
It took me long to get a PC connected to the same network where the node_a is on. The PC can display the webpage. The firewall is obvious causing troubles.
We finished configuration long ago by manually modifying /opt/hpservices/etc/motprefs file.
Thanks a lot.

Re: Install ISEE through firewall
I myself did not do the modification.
The attachment is the file /opt/hpservices/etc/motprefs modified manually.
The guy did the job told me he only modified the contact infomation and system handle,etc as we do through the webpage.
Cheers
