New products supported in the latest version of Insight Remote Support 7.9 CLU 1–download it today!

Download the latest version of Insight Remote Support and improve the availability of your supported servers, storage, networking with 24/7 monitoring, proactive alerts, troubleshooting support, and a single consolidated view of your environment.

The latest Insight Remote Support version 7.9 CLU 1 includes support for the following new products:

  • HPE Superdome Flex (adding VMware vSphere 6.5 U1, U2)
  • HPE ProLiant DL325 AMD Gen10
  • HPE D2500sb Gen10 Storage Blade
  • HPE StoreEasy 1460 8/10/32TB SATA Storage
  • HPE StoreEasy 1560 8/16TB SATA Storage
  • HPE StoreFabric SN6650B 32Gb 96/48 Fiber Channel Switch
  • HPE Aruba 8320 32p 40G QSFP+
  • HPE Aruba 8320 48p 1G/10GBASE-T and 6p 40G QSFP+

 

How to update Insight Remote Support:

  • If your Insight RS Software Manager is configured to ‘Automatically Download and Install Updates’, no action is required to install the new Insight RS release 
  • If not, follow these steps:
  1. If your Insight RS hosting device is running version 7.9.0.65 (the original kit) or 7.9.0.67 (Patch 1), apply the following from the Software Manager:
    • Insight Remote Support Application Patch (7.9.0.75)
    • HPE Insight Remote Support Content Update Release (7.9.0.75)
  2. If your Insight RS hosting device is running8.0.XX or earlier, apply the following:
    • InsightRemote Support Application Upgrade (7.9.0.75)

Note: If you are currently running Insight RS version 7.6.0.XX or earlier, your hosting device may update to 7.9.0.75 successfully, however this is not an advised upgrade path as these versions are no longer supported.  For more details please see InsightRemote Support documentation: http://www.hpe.com/info/insightremotesupport/docs
