OSEM without ISEE

Hi.

Is it possible to send reports directly from OSEM?
Which e-mail address must i insert in OSEM -> Settings: -> Remote Delivery

I've installed HPSIM 5.1 and OSEM 1.4.2.A on our Management Server.

HP SIM V5.1 offers an integrated remote support (ISEE A.05.00). When this module is bein installed OSEM is also being installed. OSEM is supporting the remote support module.

Actually supported devices with ISEE A.05.00
- all Proliants with Windows and Linux.
Further devices will follow.

yes you can configure OSEM to e-mail alerts locally - just configure your email server settings in the OSEM viewer under Settings - Local Email.

In remote delivery - set it to whatever you want - you will still get local notifications if configured as above. Be aware that you will get notifications for all events - even ones that would not necessarily cause a call to be raised. eg - test traps, media changes etc.
