Open incidents in ESC
We had a VMS cluster setup which generated a entitlement check every 2 minutes and we discovered it to late. The problem is that we now have +- 8000 incidents open on the SPOP. Is there a quick way to get rid of these incidents except using Motive Insight to close them. I also suspect that this is causing the SPOP not to function correctly. The VMS issue has been resolved in the mean time.

Re: Open incidents in ESC
Hello Marius,
the incidents should get close as soon as they are closed at HP. If this does not work and there are a lot of incidents, it might be a good idea the reconnect the client to the SPOP. (I hope/guess that the reconnectToServer script also exists on VMS systems). This will remove the client from the SPOP including all incidents and then reconnect it.
Regards
Frauke

Re: Open incidents in ESC
Hello Frauke,
The ISEE client was re-installed on this system and now I know why all the open incidents disappeared from the open incident queue. Thank you for this information.
Regards
Marius
