PAC (SHC) client fails to set email address

Hi,
when I try to save the email address in the Service Detail of the Proactive Analysis client I always get an error Message:

Warning: hpsconfig permission denied;

the email adress must be an adress of HP
xxx@hp.com

Which version are you using? there are som eissues with the webUI in version 10 and 11

using the CLI should help to get your SHC configured

Hi Franz, did you find a solution to your problem, i have the same and no solution till now....

In our case the problem was solved as follows:

Warning: hpsconfig permission denied

#ll /opt/hpsmc/common/bin/hpsconfig
-r-sr-x--- 1 root hpsmc 4024504 Mar 22 2006 /opt/hpsmc/common/bin/hpsconfig

Note the Group: hpsmc

#grep hpsmc /etc/group
hpsmc::102:

Added the user hpsmh in the group file:

hpsmc::102:hpsmh
